Speaking – Speaking is probably the hardest part of a language, yet many methods spend so much time on writing. Finally, my favorite part of the Callan Method is that it forces students to 'come out of their shell'. Students often arrive at the school nervous, shy or not confident of their English – especially their speaking skills. However, in Callan Method classes, students are forced to change this attitude immediately. From their first day, students are forced to speak loudly and confidently in front of other people. In my experience, it is this change in attitude that turns good English speakers into great English speakers.
