FOH All-rounder (Morning & Weekend) | Ontico Patisserie (Rhodes)

Location: Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre
Position: Full-time / Part-time (No casuals)
Pay: In accordance with the Restaurant Industry Award / Hospitality Award rates (including relevant weekend penalties & superannuation)
Roster & Hours: 4–5 days per week (3–4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend day)

Weekday Morning Shift: Approx. 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Weekend Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented FOH All-rounder to join our Rhodes store team. This position focuses on morning trade during the week and weekend coverage, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a morning environment, enjoys hands-on product finishing, and takes pride in independent floor management.

Key Responsibilities
Cake Decoration & Finishing: Assist with decorating cakes, applying final aesthetic touches, setting up the showcase display, and portioning cookies according to brand standards.
Opening & Morning Setup: Execute opening procedures efficiently, ensuring the display cases, coffee station, and counter are fully prepped for trade.
Barista & Beverage Service: Craft and serve consistent, high-quality coffee and signature drinks.
Order & Pickup Management: Coordinate pre-ordered cakes and smooth customer pickups during peak hours.
Store Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming boutique atmosphere throughout the shift.

Who You Are

Punctual and available for 8:00 AM starts on weekdays and full-day weekend shifts. Experienced in coffee service, with good hand-eye coordination and an eye for detail in cake presentation/decoration. Calm, focused, and efficient when managing rushes independently. Looking for stable, ongoing hours (3–4 weekdays plus one weekend day).
