PART-TIME JAPANESE TEACHER

The Australasian Centre of Chinese Studies (ACCS) is expanding its language offerings and is now seeking
part-time Japanese language teachers to teach adult learners during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends
across Melbourne.

While our primary focus has been Chinese language education, we are now offering Japanese classes due to
growing demand.

We welcome applicants who:
* Are available to teach according to our class schedules.
* Are interested in pursuing a long-term (casual/part-time) teaching role.
* Possess excellent communication skills (both spoken and written).
* Are willing to travel to teach at our suburban class locations.
* Understand the importance and responsibility of being a teacher.
* Have a basic understanding of ACCS and our educational values.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in both Japanese and English.
Teaching experience or qualifications is desirable (in any area) but not mandatory.
More importantly, we seek people who are extroverted, outgoing and energetic.
They will have a passion for teaching. Obviously, they will also need to be professional, reliable and responsible.

Successful applicants will be inducted in our Accelerated Learning Techniques for teaching Japanese and will
have an opportunity to pursue a long-term part-time career.
