Full-Time Childcare Educator – Artarmon

We are a friendly and multicultural childcare centre in Artarmon, NSW, seeking a caring and enthusiastic Japanese Childcare Educator to join our team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Japanese culture. You will support our children and families while helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment for families from all cultural backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children
Communicate effectively with children and families
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
Introduce Japanese language and cultural activities
Support each child’s learning, development and wellbeing
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Complete observations and required learning documentation
Maintain a safe, clean and organised learning environment
Follow the National Quality Framework and centre policies

About You
Strong knowledge and appreciation of Japanese culture
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently studying towards one
Current Working with Children Check
First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain them
Good English communication skills
Passionate about working with young children
Reliable, professional and able to work within a multicultural team
Previous childcare experience is preferred
