We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to support Australian-based companies.


Start Date: Immediate Start

Work Schedule: 3 days / week

Working Hours (with 1-hour break):

If you are in Australia: 9am - 6pm

If you are in Japan: 8am - 5pm (Apr - Sep), 7am - 4pm (Oct - Mar)

Work Style: WFH (potentially office-based work in Osaka in the future)

Pay Rate: JPY 153,600 - 175,000 (negotiable)

Location: Kansai area (must be able to commute to Osaka City if required in the future)


Responsibilities:

- Review bank account cash flow in Xero (Australian accounting software)

- Upload/organise supplier bills (Accounts Payable)

- Review bills and prepare for payment schedules in Excel (Accounts Payable)

- Generate and issue invoices to customers (Accounts Receivable)

- Follow up on outstanding payments via email/phone (Accounts Receivable)

- Participate in meetings with our CEO / Clients in Australia

Essential Requirements:

- English proficiency at C1 level (or working towards it)

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Proactiveness

- Willingness to learn and adapt despite unknown topics

- Strong communication and reporting skills (Hou-ren-sou)

- Experience in an administration role

- Experience in accounts team (AP/AR)

- Familiar with accounting software

- Accounting knowledge (e.g. bookkeeping/Boki)

- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Word


Preferred:

- Experience using Xero
