Position: Kitchen Hand (Japanese Sushi Shop)
Location: Sydney Place, CB04, 180 George St, Sydney NSW 2000
Trading Days: Monday to Friday

Pay
• From $33.19 per hour (based on experience; negotiable at interview)
• Pay will be in accordance with applicable Australian workplace laws and any relevant Award or Agreement
• Superannuation will be paid where required by law
• Penalty rates may apply for weekends and public holidays (where applicable)

Working hours will generally fall within the following time ranges, with final schedules to be confirmed by the manager based on operational needs:
• Monday: 7:00 am – 2:45 pm
• Tuesday: 8:00 am – 3:15 pm
• Wednesday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 am – 2:45 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Duties
• Prepare sushi rice in accordance with food safety and store standards
• Assist with cooking tasks including frying chicken, preparing teriyaki chicken, and cooking curry dishes
• Support food preparation and general kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
• Assist team members as required to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements
• Must have the legal right to work in Australia
• Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is preferred (training can be provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
