About Us
K. Azuma Pty Ltd is a family-run, award-winning Japanese restaurant celebrating its 30th anniversary. After 21 successful years at Chifley Tower, we have relocated to a new space in Sydney CBD and are entering an exciting new chapter.
We are looking for Bilingual Guest Relations & Marketing Coordinator (Japanese/English) to join our team and support both our business operations and guest relations.
This role offers a dynamic mix of hospitality, marketing support, and executive assistance, working closely with the directors and restaurant management.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage reservations, VIP bookings, and customer enquiries
• Build strong relationships with hotel concierges to drive guest referrals and revenue
• Support marketing activities including publications, eDM campaigns, social media, website updates, and Google Business
• Assist directors with scheduling, correspondence, and administrative tasks
• Handle gift vouchers, supplies, and general office administration
• Maintain the customer database and assist with business operations
Requirements
• Business-level Japanese required and strong English communication skills
• Interest in Japanese culture and hospitality
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (ResDiary, Stripe, and Illustrator preferred)
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality or a related field
• Education in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality preferred

Work Conditions
Working Hours: Monday–Friday starting at 10:00 am (33–38 hours per week)
Salary Range: $28–$35 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Visa Eligibility: Must have full working rights in Australia
Start Date: Immediate start preferred
