The Front Desk Manager functions as the management presence in the Front Office during Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts.
This position requires effective cooperation with all apartments and hotel departments, focusing on guest service and satisfaction.
A primary responsibility will be overseeing all front office line staff.
What Will You Do?
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.
Act independently as MOD, covering morning, evening & overnight shifts when in need.
Act as Lobby Ambassador and perform VIP escorts and Oversee VIP arrivals.
You will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests, and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations.
Ensure proper inventories and controls are in place with established par levels.
Maintain proper established standards via inspections and walkthroughs.
Maintain all employee related disciplines such as training, proactive employee relations, performance appraisals, time and attendance, safety, and coaching / disciplinary process.
Maintain positive public relations and pleasant attitude with guests and employees.
Maintain a positive, cooperative relationship with all other departments.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time for training and safety purposes, and when interacting with guests and associates.
Strong communication skills.
Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
A college degree strongly preferred.
