Sydney College of English is a long established quality provider of English language training. Located just south of the Sydney CBD, the college has multiple accreditations and is recognized as being an enduring member of a very vibrant international industry.

 

As a result of recent staff movements, an opportunity has arisen at Sydney College of English for the position of Marketing Manager (Japan) Along with other members of the marketing team the position is concerned with leading and implementing sales and marketing strategy. Specifically this position supports SCE’s Japanese market. Key duties of the role include:

 


Education agent recruitment and management
Market analysis, market development and other tasks associated with student recruitment
Student counselling
The development of marketing collateral, including web content and web strategy
Administrative and reporting tasks


 

The successful applicant will:

1.Be a people person who is experienced or has capacity to perform in a sales role

2.Demonstrate analytical and organizational skills in the marketing field

3.Be skilled in both the Japanese language and English (Other languages are an advantage)

3.Be competent at working within a small business context

4.Be accurate, attentive to detail and service-oriented with a strong commitment to Japanese expectations of service.

5.Australian Permanent resident or Citizen

The position reports to the Principal.
