An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated professional to join an established financial planning division of a leading professional services firm. Sunnyside Accountants are business advisors that provide accounting & taxation services, audit assurance, management accounting, business advisory, financial planning, superannuation advice, trusts and estate planning and tax consulting.  The Financial Advisor role is located St Leonards Sydney and the successful candidates will be offered: 

THE OPPORTUNITY


Operate your own business within our firm.  We provide leads, marketing and administration support to you
You will be taking over a client base of approximately 150 active clients and 500 potential accounting/tax clients.  It will be your role to provide ongoing full financial advisory service to these clients as well as attracting and retaining new clients.
Joining a high performing business, you'll be responsible for providing holistic advice to a broad range of clients across personal risk advice, investments, retirement planning and superannuation including SMSF.
In addition to the standard financial planning aspect of the role, you will also be involved in the leadership team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Identify new business opportunities
Develop our existing portfolio of clients with strong referrals internally
Converting existing leads on database while also sourcing new leads through, networking, referrals, events and other community partnerships
Managing relationships and meeting sales targets by providing excellent service to clients
Analyse client needs and match to appropriate strategies
Develop key internal and external relationships
Deliver on targets and create pipeline opportunities
Mentoring of new and existing team members


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS


A Tertiary Degree or CFP or Masters in Financial Planning 
Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (RG146) 
SMSF qualification 
Strong demonstrated experience dealing with a broad range of Superannuation, Insurance and Investment products
A minimum of 5 years financial planning experience.
Strong analytical, numerical and influencing skills
Excellent relationship and communication skills being able to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals
Strong referral sources and business development skills will also be taken into consideration.
